Does the Tier 1 Investor Visa route lead to Settlement?
Yes, if a person invests £2 million, then after 5 years he can obtain settlement. Settlement can be obtained quicker if a larger amount is invested:
- A minimum investment of £5 million can lead to settlement after 3 years; and
- A minimum investment of £10 million can lead to settlement after 2 years.
Can a Tier 1 Investor work or study?
Yes, once his Visa has been obtained, a Tier one investor can both work and study in the UK if they would like to.
What are the eligibility requirements for the Tier 1 Investor Visa?
You will need to show that you have an amount to invest which meets the minimum amount and which must be held in regulated institutions.
